Date Idea #257 – Attend an outdoor Christmas festival in your city

Day 18 of 25 Christmas date ideas. We asked our friends @up.daters what December date activity they shared two outdoor festivals in Northern Utah they always enjoy:

“1. Attend the Christkindlmarkt! This is a German Christmas Market held at the beginning of December and such a fun way to kick off the holiday season. We love learning and experiencing different cultures and making them part of our traditions too! Whether you go for the market itself or just the ambience, it’s the perfect Christmas date night. Plus, it’s free!

2. Walk through the Ogden Christmas Village. Full of lights and displays, this is a fun activity! Bundle up, make a stop at the hot chocolate station to grab a drink and start looking! Local businesses from the area have a creative display full of holiday spirit. Search for the hidden elves and admire the creativity. You can even stop to see Santa on your way out!”

These sounds like so much fun! During the Christmas season, you should always be able to find some type of outdoor festival to enjoy together. Some of them only run on specific dates and others will run the entire month of December.
