The days of chivalry are NOT dead and most women still want to be treated like a princess. Here are 5 tips for you guys to show respect and treat your lady like she deserves to be treated on date nights.
- Open the car door for her. This is a simple gesture to show respect for your lady on date nights. Ladies, stay in your car and don’t touch that door handle. It may be awkward a few times, but he will catch on real quick.
- Take her arm or hold her hands. While walking around on your date or helping her out of the car or if the road is slippery, you should have a hold of her arm or hand. This is not only a sign of affection but also gives her comfort and stability.
- Pull out her chair and take her coat. As you get ready to sit down at a restaurant, offer to help her take her coat off and then pull out her chair, so she can sit down. Again, it’s just a little something extra to show you care for her.
- Be a good listener. While you are together, your lady deserves your main attention. Listen to what she says and comment back on it. Keep your phone off and your eyes on her. Make her feel like she is the only one in the room.
- Be kind to those around you. Hold the door open for other people that are near you. In a lobby, offer your seat to mothers or the elderly. Be willing to help others around you and smile at people you make eye contact with. Showing you are kind to others says a lot about the type of person you are.
