Date Idea #88 – Light your lamp at a floating lantern festival

You don’t have to be a Disney princess trapped in a tall tower for most of your life to enjoy a magical lantern festival date.

Many cities have started organizing lantern festivals where you drive to a safe location and release a flame-lit lantern into the sky. Before the release you can enjoy the evening together roasting s’mores and enjoying the entertainment.

Search for a local event that you can attend soon. If you live in Northern Utah, there is a lantern release event happening this weekend (May 21 & 22) and you can still get a lantern kit and be part of the fun. More info at: @nightlightsevent
