Date Idea #273 – Plan your whole date night around a letter in the alphabet

This post is not just about one date idea, but instead it’s about 26 date ideas… one for every letter in the alphabet!

For your date night, pick a letter in the alphabet and then plan your date food and activities that start with that letter.

We discovered this alphabet date idea from Kim & Jamie Rahn (@kimrahn1987) Here is how they got started:

“My husband and I moved to St Louis the end of 2019 right before COVID hit. Before we knew it, we were living in a new area for over a year and hadn’t explored anything! I read somewhere about an alphabet restaurant challenge, so I thought I could expand upon that idea and make a full date day out of it!

Every month my husband and I theme a date around the next letter of the alphabet – we find a restaurant and activity location that starts with that letter, listen to a genre of music or an artist beginning with the same letter, and top off the night with a movie.

We have definitely found some gems in the area that we would have never visited without this challenge! Some of our favorite places visited are BLTs for our Brunch date, Elephant Rocks State Park, Guidos, and Iron Mountain Railway.”

We love this idea!!! What a fun and creative way to find new activities and restaurants for date nights. You can start this date challenge with the letter “A” and work your way through “Z” or just pick a random letter to start with.
