We asked our friends @destinationdatenights what Halloween date they enjoyed and they said:

“Make some DIY Halloween decor. Our favourites are using some black paper to make some bats using online tutorials to decorate the walls and making a ‘witch’s apothecary’. You source an array of bottles and jars, and fill them up with a variety of things. Add red colouring and water to make ‘dragon’s blood’, or water and green colouring for ‘snakes’ venom’, fake spiders and insects and then make some labels. It’s a fun, creative activity!”

Wow – what a fun idea! Making your own Halloween decorations is usually inexpensive date night and you have a huge selection of things you can make.

Start by going on Pinterest, Etsy or Google to look for simple Halloween decorations you can make and what supplies are needed. Next, purchase the supplies before your date night. On your date, put on a creepy Halloween playlist and stay inside making creative decorations for your home.
