One of the nation’s biggest comic/fan convention is this weekend in Salt Lake City… FanX. I’m very excited to go with my wife to the event.

For this date idea, plan to attend an upcoming comic/fan convention in your area. You can also travel to another city and make a fun getaway out if it.

Comic conventions are full of everything pop culture you can think of. Science fiction, fantasy, tv/movies, books, video games, panels, actors, cosplay and a zillion more interests can be seen and experienced. If you have never been to something like this, you are going to really enjoy it.

If you want to get really into it, buy/make matching costumes and cosplay for the event.
