In a world of increasing plastic Christmas trees, nothing beats the look and smell of a real freshly cut Christmas tree. You basically have two options for this date idea.

Option 1 – Visit a local Christmas tree lot and browse the lot looking for the perfect tree. After you get the tree, don’t forget the hot chocolate afterward.

Option 2 – Go for an adventure together into the mountains and find and cut down the perfect tree. This option requires a bit more planning (and usually a inexpensive permit) but will be a memory you will never forget. Just don’t forget the saw.

Either way you choose, getting a fresh tree for your home will make the holidays more magical!
