During the fall season, many local farmers will offer hayrides to the public. A hayride is a fun recreational ride in a wagon or cart pulled by a tractor, horses or a truck, which has been loaded with hay or straw for comfortable seating.

You will often find hayrides at local pumpkin patches or corn mazes. You will board a wagon the seats a dozen or more people and then get pulled around the farm area. Many hayrides are even free to do and take about 5-20 minutes to complete.

If you are lucky, you might even find a haunted hayride near you, where they pull you through a large area of haunted and scary scenes.

Just Google “hayrides near me” to find one that’s close to you. Be sure to dress warm and cuddle up with your date on the ride. Ye-haw!
