Date Idea #204 – Drive around and look at the neighbor’s Halloween decor

We asked our friends @theaveragedaters what Halloween date they enjoyed and they said:

“October for us is all about family. We love decorating together, getting the costumes out, and driving around to look at people’s Halloween decorations. In Utah there is actually a website that tells you specific addresses of houses with crazy decorations to go see and we love doing that. The best date to share would be to drive around and see others decorations.”

We love this idea and it’s something we do every year, too! Maybe it’s because we also put up a ton of Halloween yard decorations and enjoy seeing the yards of other people that have done the same.

For your date night, simply get in your car and drive up and down your neighborhood (or a nearby city) looking for homes with spooky yard decor. Be sure to play a Halloween music playlist in the car and stop for a pumpkin shake along the way. It’s also fun to give each house a 1-10 star rating as you drive by.
