We asked our friends @datenight.doneright what Halloween date they have enjoyed and they said:

“We enjoy apple picking in October because our favorite apples, Granny Smith and Fuji, are ripe in early October. It’s the perfect seasonal activity and it keeps on giving! We love using our harvest to make yummy treats.”

Yes! A nice juicy apple is a great tasting fruit to enjoy in the fall. Even the famous pirate Captain Barbossa was always wishing for a bite of an apple.

Eating an apple is good, but hand picking a bunch of apples is even better and makes for a great date activity! Look for a local apple orchard that allows you to pick the apples and purchase what you pick. You save money too, when you pick it yourself. Now get out there before the first snow comes!
