Date Idea #212 – Plan a Fall or Halloween themed progressive dinner
Day 21 of 31 Halloween Date Ideas.
We asked our friend @monitanner1 what Halloween date she has enjoyed with her husband and she said:
“If you’re a foodie like me, then Fall probably brings up certain food flavors attached to wonderful memories and experiences.
We love apples, soups and anything pumpkin spice! Planning an adventure date that incorporates our favorite foods and flavors of Fall is something we look forward to all year.
It doesn’t have to be expensive or elaborate, but find some local places serving your favorites and set up a progressive meal where you get to hop around and experience your favorite Fall treats together ❤️”
Thanks Monica! Progressive dinners are such a fun and creative way to spread out your meal over a longer period of time and at multiple locations. If you have never done one before, you basically jump from location to location having a part of your normal dinner.
Start with a small appetizer at one location, then drive to the next location for a festive drink, then another location for a smaller part of a normal meal, then another location for the main entree and then a fifth location for the desert. You decide how many stops you make on your date and what you eat/drink at each location.
You can choose to stop at cafe’s/restaurants on your journey or get a group of friends together and stop at each other’s homes. Each home could be decorated with fall/Halloween decor to add to the experience. You decide how big you want to go for this traveling dining experience!
Cost: just the cost of food you eat
