Date Idea #96 – Travel back in time and attend a Renaissance Faire

For this date, you are going to travel back in time to a magical place where knights, princesses, and fairies roamed the land. Go attend a Renaissance Faire!

This is something that my wife and I have enjoyed doing for many years. You can find a Renaissance Festival happening during the summer months and there is usually one not too far away from where you live.

These festivals are filled with great fun, food, entertainment and shopping. Many of them also have real sword fighting events and knights jousting on horseback. Get a glimpse of what life was like hundreds of years ago while having fun.

If you live in Northern Utah, there is a Renaissance Festival happening this weekend (utahrenfest.com) or others scheduled for later in the year.

Want to really get into it? Dress up as a princess, knight, fairy, or any other fun fantasy costume. You will find plenty of other people dressing up to enjoy the festival even more. Huzzah!
