Get in your car and drive around looking for yard sales for this day date idea.

Garage sale season is winding down, but you can still find them going on. They are a great way to find used treasures and also help out the family you are buying from.

This date is simple:
1. Get some cash, because most home owners can’t charge a card.
2. Drive around your town on a Saturday morning, looking for yard sale signs.
3. Follow the signs, stop at the homes and browse through their items.

If you find something you like, buy it. However, it’s still a fun date activity to do even if you don’t buy anything.

Extra Credit: Before you leave, search online for a yard sale scavenger hunt list. Print it out and turn the date into a fun game you play looking for random items.
