Date Idea #377 – Try out different board games before buying them at a game store

Did you know that many stores that sell board games have demo games you can learn and play in their store? This board game demo date night is fun and free!

Many local stores that sell board games want you to try and learn different games and have dedicated shelves with open board games for you to try. Turn this into a date night in these three simple steps:

STEP 1 – Call around to local game stores to see if they have open games for you to learn and try out.

STEP 2 – Pick a date on the calendar to have your game night. Invite another couple if that would make it more fun.

STEP 3 – Visit the store and learn to play several new board/card games. Buy one from the local store if you like it to support small businesses.

If you live in Utah, try out “Game Haven”. They have multiple locations in the state and have hundreds of games for customers to try and learn. They also have a large area in their stores dedicated to game play for anyone that wants to use it.

Cost: Free, unless you end up buying a name game
